November 2009, that’s the month where I realised that I had played every console and computer game that I ever wanted to. Everything else I want to play is an arcade game. So, in the blink of an eye, I decided to sell all my consoles (apart from a couple of them) and games and buy arcade games instead.

Eckychap has been running for about 10 years and has always been dedicated to all games for all systems, but now, 27th December 2009, I have changed the whole format of the site to record my arcade game collecting antics.

I’ve moved over the relevant stuff from my old site and used a blog style for the new site to make posting things easier (and to teach myself WordPress)

I’ll be documenting any repair work I do, showcasing my finished games and telling you all about any arcade related trips that I go on.
